Hong Kong in Saigon. And Fusion.
A small but great place is Lees Noodle Kitchen, where friendly and professional staff serves wonderful Hong Kong style and fusion bowls of noodle soup, duck noodles, some rice dishes, cold noodles, wan tan and other lovely foods you may or may not know from Hong Kong.
All of us quite enjoy the food and the price is competitive, given the fact that they only use good ingredients for their dishes. It seems at noon there are quite some customers in there, which adds more weight to my approving words.
While last time we had duck noodles and wan tan soup because the cold noodles were sold out, this time we ordered flat fresh noodles with seafood and char xiu noodles with wan tan, because the cold noodles were - you can guess it already - sold out once again.
The food was very nice. If you are more into Cantonese cuisine than I am personally, you may even call it amazingly delicious. Lees Noodle Kitchen is actually one of the many reasons why living in Thao Dien is a great experience every time again. These small, quite hidden places where they serve tasty foodie experiences from every corner of the globe.
Corner of the globe.
Wrap your head around that please.
